Week 5 Rankings: Alabama’s back at No.1 in the SEC

At the end of the season, we’ll be talking about great games. If the Alabama v Georgia game isn’t in your Top 2, you’re probably wrong. They played out a crazy, wonderful, game-of-two-halves classic that was finished with a crazy-brilliant touchdown by a kid who happens to be the 17-year old cousin of one Serena Williams Anyway, here are our rankings after Week 5 of the SEC season. 1. Alabama: Calen DeBoer’s gonna win games he should have lost (see last season v Oregon and Texas) and lose games he should have won. His clock management will be questionable. Arch Manning’s decision to go to Texas was ‘Austin Weird’

There’s a horrible expression in Austin that goes “Keep Austin Weird”. In the 70s, it worked. So boy (if you love your defense) it was miserable. So in an effort to not make any depressed, we’re not going

Big Statues, Big SEC Rivals, Big Amusement

While we were watching the Brits celebrate their first-ever (male) Wimbledon crown since God was a boy (77 years, as it goes), this popped up on our Twitter Feed from Reddit: “If you could erect a statue of one person in front of your biggest rival’s stadium, who would it be and what would they be doing?” To say that we nearly urinated our underwear laughing would be an understatement. And then the imagination kicked in. So here are our ones for all SEC schools. SEC EAST FOR FLORIDA: We’re going with a big, long spear, which will be flamed up every time Florida and Florida State play each other. That’s because Bobby Bowden had a 7-4 record against Spurrier
