Alabama sophmore cornerback Geno Smith has been suspended for Alabama’s opener with Virginia Tech after being  arrested for DUI in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night. Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said about the arrest: “We’ve never had an issue with Geno. Alabama CB arrested for DUI

Alabama sophmore cornerback Geno Smith was arrested for DUI in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night, it has been reported. Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said about the arrest: “This is obviously not the kind of behavior that we expect from our players. I don’t have all of the details at this point and will handle it appropriately once I’ve had the chance to review the information“. Smith was released on bail on Sunday morning.
