Florida Gators Looking Toothless: SEC Power Rankings After Week 11

If you think that things couldn’t have gotten a lot worse for the Florida Gators football program, then they did. They got a lot worse. They got Put-Will-Muschamp-On-The-Freaking-Hotseat Worse. That’ll happen when you lose at home to Vanderbilt for the first time since two years after the Second World War ended (that’s 1947 folks!). Elsewhere in the SEC, Alabama got a fright from LSU but dealt with them unsympathetically, we saw the Good Johnny and Bad Johnny at The Last Home Game at the old Kyle Field (but A&M scored 50 which was enough to beat Mississippi State), and there were wins for Ole Miss, Missouri, Auburn and Georgia. Anyway, here’s your SEC Power Rankings. Hint: Florida isn’t No.1. 1.

Georgia/Florida Game Helps SEC Week 10 slate

TWe’re not going to lie….we needed a rest after the shenanigans of a last few weeks, and with the weakness of the Week 10 slate, we (thankfully) will be able to focus on who’s going to hit wide left and wide right in the Miami vs Florida State game, because after 3.30pm, the SEC slate just ain’t good. There are ZERO….ZERO Top 25 match-ups between SEC teams this week. Louisiana Tech said that this was due to fan safety rather than a worry about weather conditions,

Aggies News: Brandon Williams will not play for Texas A&M this year

Incoming backfield transfer Brandon Williams will not play for Texas A&M this year, the NCAA has ruled. On Wednesday night the powers-that-be at the NCAA ruled that sophomore full-back Brandon Williams, who transferred over from Oklahoma to College Station in an effort to see more playing time (and play in the SEC, obviously!), will not play in 2012, despite a waiver application being sent to the ruling authority. That’s a blow to an Aggies offense that’s hoping that Christine Michael – who was a top tandem player with Cyrus Gray last season before he got injured – can stay healthy for 12 games. BOTTOM LINE: This isn’t a major blow for Aggies Athletics, but it’s a blow nevertheless. In the
