Mike Bobo is South Carolina’s new OC
Mike Bobo is returning to the SEC. The former Georgia OC has been hired by South Carolina to be the team’s new offensive mastermind under Will Muschamp after he left Colorado State. His job won’t be easy – He’ll be charged with improving one of the country’s worst offenses, which averaged 121st in yards per play in the country. He will replace Bryan McClendon as OC. Bobo started with a trio of winning seasons with Colorado State before 2-6 and 3-5 seasons in 2018 and 2019. He was sidelined in 2018 with peripheral neuropathy after he experienced numbness in his feet. Coaching-wise, he should be an ideal fit for South Carolina.
