The 2014 SEC season is nearly upon us, so it’s high time (no pun intended, Nick Marshall) that we start our round of 14 SEC previews with the Auburn Tigers. Juco National Signing Day: Big Wins for Texas A&M and Auburn; Saban solid

Junior College National Signing Day which started Wednesday had some pretty major headlines.  Auburn continued their incredible run of success in the recruiting field by persuading the No. 1 JUCO prospect in the country previous LSU commitment WR D’haquille Williams to sign for the Tigers, but also lineman DaVonte Lambert to not play for Tennessee but play on the Plains. Jadeveon Clowney maintains he’ll return

South Carolina defensive end, ESPN star and dreadlocked giant Jadeveon Clowney has promised that he will return in 2013 after missing the Kentucky game through bruised ribs. Clowney’s decision not to play the Kentucky game really annoyed South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier, who said that Clowney simply: “Didn’t want to play”. It soon became the biggest story of last week’s college football schedule…and maybe the biggest of the year. Can The Tigers Roar? 2013 LSU Preview

It seems that any time that LSU does not win a National Title or is not in the conversation for a National Title, that Les Miles is the worst coach in the world, and should pay the penalty for his loss by not only getting fired, but spending the rest of his life carrying a 300lb millstone around his neck to remind him of the hurt that he impounded on the LSU faithful. Who’s got the SEC’s easiest non-conference schedule?

The SEC is always getting yelled out by those college football heathens for not putting out the best teams on the non-conference, and although we always come back with “Florida vs Florida State”, as well as last season’s “Alabama vs Michigan” (SEC teams won both), it’s really important this blog works out who’s got the EASIEST, so we can then work out who deserves some criticism for their schedule, and who doesn’t. Each team’s non conference schedule is ranked in order of difficulty from 1-4, and given an end-grade. The crappiest team graded is first. So don’t be upset if your team is last.
