Well, Alabama’s now the best team in the SEC again after the Crimson Tide beat Mississippi State, while Georgia suffered a phyrric victory while pummelling Auburn – they lost Todd Gurley for the season with a torn ACL (and probably the rest of his career). Meanwhile, we’re proud to say Arkansas fans have their first win of the season after shutting out LSU, while Tennessee’s on a roll after dismantling a once-again-disappointing Kentucky team. Will Muschamp has been fired as the head coach of Florida, the school announced on Sunday. After a terrible 2013, it was always going to be difficult for Will Muschamp in 2014. After getting blown out at home to Missouri, it looked as though Muschamp might be fired a few weeks ago. Texas A&M stuns Auburn, Alabama heartbreaks LSU: SEC Week 11 Power Rankings

Texas A&M pulled off one of the stunners of the SEC season when they beat Auburn at Jordan-Hare on Saturday. Then LSU looked like it would pull a monster upset in Death Valley by beating Alabama….and then choked. One of the funniest things about the LSU vs Alabama rivalry is the amount of crap that gets talked between the fans. The reason why we’re so late on our SEC Power Rankings is that we’re trying to work out what in God’s name is going on with the two SECs. The SEC West is very strong. Gurley suspended additional two games; Georgia to appeal

Star Georgia running back Todd Gurley has been suspended an extra two games by the NCAA – meaning that he’ll be back for the Auburn game at Sanford Stadium on November 15th. Georgia already suspended Gurley for two games – the road wins against Arkansas and Missouri – after finding out he had taken money for signing autographs. It was thought to be around the $400 mark, but the further investigation found that it was far more than that. The NCAA said that Gurley was suspended for “accepting more than $3,000 in cash from multiple individuals for autographed memorabilia and other items over two years.” It added that “Gurley, who acknowledged violating NCAA rules, must repay a portion of the

Mississippi State No.1 in first College Football Play-Off Poll

Unbeaten Mississippi State is No.1 in the inaugural College Football Play-Off Poll in a SEC West-owned Top 4. Despite struggling against Kentucky on Saturday, the Committee obviously felt that the away victory at LSU – who upset Ole Miss on Saturday – and the win over Auburn stood high. Florida State – also unbeaten – is No.2, with its biggest victory over previously-unbeaten Notre Dame. Auburn – who has only lost to Mississippi State on the road – is No. 3. Some nights are built for Death Valley. Last Saturday was one of those nights.
