What is Jaden Rashada DOING?

Jaden Rashada is either on a mission to make as much money as he possibly can from the transfer portal, or he’s not very bright.

First of all, there was the Florida case where he managed to revoke his own commitment to Florida (basically because there was a difference between getting paid $13 million to go to Florida, and actually getting paid it), and went to Arizona State, who were strapped for starters.

We don’t know how much money (if any) was paid into Rashada’s pocket to go to The Home of Smoking Hot Women to go and play in the desert, but he managed to start there, and did OK, bearing in mind he missed out a lot of Spring practice due to having hand surgery (and other injuries). In three games he went 44-82 for 485 yards, four TDs and 3 INTs.

What makes Rashada so special is the fact that he’s incredibly talented. There was a reason why Kirby Smart recruited him so hard in the first place. Kirby Smart doesn’t do that for just about anyone.

He’s got great ball placement skills, and a cannon for an arm. He’s also incredibly mobile in the pocket.

BUT….

The move is a head-scratcher.

He’ll be third or fourth on the depth chart behind Carson Beck, Gunnar Stockton and Ryan Puglisi. Puglisi himself is a four-star QB who was also a high school baseball star.

So is Rashada even going to see the field is Beck gets injured? Probably not.

This very well may be an ‘experience gig’ in one of college football’s best offenses before he goes to somewhere else.

Please, tell me why it won’t.
