Hugh Freeze gets Auburn job

A lot has been said about the hiring of Hugh Freeze.

Personally, I don’t understand why Auburn AD John Cohen – who tried to effectively ‘death penalty’ Ole Miss when he was AD at Mississippi State over recruiting violations hired him in the first place.

And then there’s the baggage he carries.

There’s the Twitter messages to a rape victim at Liberty protecting his AD there – who was in charge at Baylor while a ream of rapes were happening in the football team.

Then there’s making underage girls change in front of you when you were at Briarcrest Christian, which is outright weird.

Then there’s the whores he called. He kept on saying how he’d gone through the wringer with his wife and kids but thank you Lord Jesus, it all got sorted out with therapy.

Oh, and then there’s Twitter DMs to tons and tons of people. Either he’s a schemer at he can’t stop himself.

But the guy doesn’t understand consequences. And nor will he. Even though Auburn’s taken away the guy’s Twitter account because he’s such a nutjob.

But one of the biggest things at Auburn is that they are hiring someone who has a sub-.500 SEC record, and who Auburn fans will be joyous about when gets them back to a bowl game in 2024 and gets them to the College Football Play(offs) in 2025.
