Georgia vs Vanderbilt is cancelled

Georgia’s game with Vanderbilt has been cancelled, on accounts of Vanderbilt having below-the-minimum amount of scholarships.

Vanderbilt was struggling with opt-outs and transfers even before injuries and positive cases before the announcement. Vanderbilt played with just 16 players on defense against Tennessee.

This was always going to happen.

Sure, this news will infuriate Kirby Smart and the Georgia fanbase, but that’s the way it goes.

Georgia is said to be looking for another opponent.
