Two UGA players appear in court; Will not face suspension
Georgia linebacker James DeLoach and freshman defensive end Jonathan Taylor will not face suspensions from Mark Richt after being arrested for cashing checks illegally.
The two players were told that they would face “significant internal discipline” but no suspensions, according to a number of reports.
They were accepted into a pre-trial intervention program.
The other two players – safety Tray Matthews and WR Uriah LeMay – appeared alongside DeLoach and Taylor. Matthews left the team earlier this week and LeMay has also left UGA. Both players intend to transfer.
